Domenico Cantatore (Ruvo di Puglia, March 16, 1906 - Paris, May 22, 1998) was an Italian painter, illustrator and writer.
His palette and his figures echo poetic resonances of life and its warm, corporeal materiality: "seeing, touching, soul, reason, consciousness and knowledge, birthplace, childhood, light, proportion and disproportion, presence, distance, instinct, memory, physiognomies and characters, air, shadow, skin, order and disorder".
