Born in Avignon in 1964, Vincent Alran set up his studio at the foot of the hill of Montmartre, where the bohemian spirit of some of the biggest names in painting still reigns. But he has kept for his "country" of birth, its brave bulls, its gypsies, its creeks and its laziness, a love that he shows through each of his paintings and that he maintains with regular escapades in his region.
Winner of the European exhibition in Nimes in 1987, one of his works was purchased by the Museum of Contemporary Art of the city. He subsequently exhibited in Paris (Villa Planeix-Le Corbusier), Brussels (Molière Gallery) and New York (New Musical Seminar). He is also regularly present in the galleries of the south (Lourmarin, Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Avignon).
Music, his second passion, has also led him to illustrate several posters of shows (the Krakow Eurientales, Mrs Butterfly by Howard Buten ...) and record covers by Maxime Le Forestier.
