Franz Borghese (Rome, January 21, 1941 - Rome, December 16, 2005) was an Italian painter and sculptor, one of the protagonists of Italian painting of the second half of the twentieth century.
In his work represents a bourgeoisie of the early twentieth century, with an ironic and fantastic vein which, as much as it is more cutting and bitter, so much closer and empathetic to human weakness, through a language and a poetic that rise to universal metaphor.
