Giuseppe Giorgi (Borbona, 1950) is an Italian painter.
The artist refines his research in identifying and interpreting suggestive places and city atmospheres, accentuating the chromatic values and spatial scans, obtaining an image more pictorial than realistic.
| LIMITED EDITION
Silkscreen artwork by Maestro Giuseppe Giorgi.
The Master is part of the movement "The Collective", which deals with social and political issues of the 70s.
At the end of those years, after numerous trips to northern Europe come out of his works, strong impressionistic influences, which arise as a tribute to Monet and his works:" Water Lilies and Reflections on the Moon. Water lilies and reflections on the water".
Participate with his works at the National Quadrennial of Art in 1975, in the section "New Figuration".
The artist renewed his interest in the connections between painting and landscape, deepening the relationship between the construction of the work, or interaction between matter and spatial dynamics, and perception of reality.
Reality understood not as mere representation, but as inspiring new and deeper meanings.
