Alberto Sughi ( Cesena , October 5, 1928 - Bologna , March 31, 2012 ) was an Italian painter . He chose the path of realism, in the context of the debate between abstract and figurative images of the immediate post-war period. However, Sughi's paintings eschew any social temptation; rather they stage moments of everyday life without heroes.
