Antonio Bueno (Berlin, July 21, 1918 - Fiesole, September 26, 1984) was an Italian painter of Spanish origin. Born in Germany while his father was a correspondent in Berlin of the newspaper ABC in Madrid, obtained Italian citizenship in 1970.
Antonio Bueno has been a determining figure of the Italian artistic '900.
In the eclecticism of his production, remain known to the general public especially his figures of busts and heads round, boys dressed in sailor, firemen, reinterpretations of great works of art history, with features round and simplified.
Definitive consecration of Bueno at the Venice Biennale of 1984, just a few months before his death: the exhibition presented a series of works that represent the summit of his production.
